Coast Community College District Aquatic Center
Costa Mesa, California

Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa was founded in 1947 and currently serves 20,000 students.  To accommodate their excellent swim team, the new Orange Coast College aquatic center replaces the 25-yard pool built in 1956 which could not be used in competition because current competition length is significantly longer.  The $43 million project envisioned three one- to three-story structures, two pools, a deck canopy, ancillary structures, and miscellaneous improvements and hardscape.

Geocon prepared the update geotechnical investigation for the project.  To date, the pool and one classroom building have been built.
