UCLA Health Neuropsychiatric Hospital

As our collaboration with UCLA progresses, UCLA Health is leading the transformation of the former Olympia Medical Center into a state-of-the-art neuropsychiatric hospital to address the increasing demand for inpatient behavioral health care services. This initiative aims to provide vital support to patients, their families, and the broader community.

Geocon is offering a variety of services, including geotechnical investigation and observation, soils testing, and special inspection services. This project represents a significant advancement in behavioral health care, addressing a longstanding capacity shortage in the region.

The world-class hospital will feature 119 inpatient beds and plans to accommodate mental health urgent care services. By bridging existing gaps, this project enhances accessibility for individuals in the Los Angeles community who require critical care due to the area’s capacity constraints.

Scheduled for completion in 2026, this endeavor represents a milestone in prioritizing behavioral health services and mental wellness in Los Angeles County. We take pride in contributing to these strides towards meeting crucial community needs.
