Ducks Unlimited’s programs to restore grasslands and watersheds in partnership with the North American Wetlands Conservation Act has lead to the conservation of 30 million acres of wetlands over the last 30 years.  Geocon has worked with Ducks Unlimited on over 30 projects performing geologic reconnaissances, lab testing, special inspection and geoenvironmental studies for various projects throughout the California Delta.

At China Island, Ducks Unlimited created a new channel to allow delta water to reach low lying areas in an effort to reestablish a wetland area.  Geocon provided testing and observation services and lab testing during construction.
