Murrieta Senior Center provides services to local senior over 50 years old.  The center provides legal aid, veteran advocacy, a Parkinson’s Support Group, senior IT support, dial-a-ride and fitness support. The 2015 design of a new fitness center addition by WLC Architects, envisioned a 1,300-square-foot structure at the south end of the existing building.

Geocon, under an on-call contract with the City of Murrieta, provided testing and observation during earthwork and special inspection services during vertical construction of the addition.

Interesting Fact: The elderly with the highest levels of physical activity have a 60% lower risk of death than those with the lower levels of activity.
