The Los Angeles Unified School District is the largest public school system in California and the second largest in the US.  The District serves about 735,000 students with 26,000 teachers at 1,150 schools. Since 1998, Geocon has provided over $5 million in geotechnical services for LAUSD on over 100 schools.

Geocon is currently performing on-call geotechnical investigations as well as providing on-call materials testing services including plan check reviews and specifications throughout the District. Under associated contracts, Geocon has provided environmental services including Phase I and Phase II studies, geophysical surveys and groundwater studies.
