Mr. Matt Love, GE, serves as a key member of the Geocon team, bringing a strong background in geotechnical engineering and project collaboration across Southern California. After graduating from CalPoly San Luis Obispo, Matt worked for several years at different firms throughout northern and southern California until he found his way to Geocon in 2016. He is involved in all phases of project delivery, including field investigations, engineering analysis, preparation of technical reports, and construction-phase support. His project experience spans commercial and residential developments, infrastructure improvements, and public-sector facilities, where he is known for his practical approach and focus on strong collaboration.

Matt works closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to help deliver practical, efficient, and technically sound solutions to complex geotechnical challenges. He values clear communication and teamwork, contributing to projects that balance performance, constructability, and cost-effectiveness. Clients and consultants have come to know that Matt is always quick to make or take a phone call to clarify or connect on any project discussions.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys staying active and creative with his wife and two children. He can often be found climbing on jungle gyms with his kids, on the pickleball court or surfing along the Southern California coast. He has a deep appreciation for playing and finding music and loves spending time in the kitchen cooking for friends and family.
