Beginning his engineering geology career in 1986, Mr. Day has significant experience managing geoscience and remediation projects. His background includes site investigations and soil and groundwater remediation, with emphasis on risk-based approaches and corrective actions. Mr. Day represents public works and private sector clients. He has directed site remediation and cleanup, permitting, investigation, risk based corrective actions, and compliance projects, and provides litigation support services.

Rick is past-president of ACEC East Bay Chapter and actively mentors Geocon staff in ASFE professional development programs. Since his two daughters have entered college, Rick and his wife are trying to vacation and travel a bit more and enjoy cruising the open seas. He also likes to hike and camp, especially in the Grand Canyon. When at home, he can often be found in his garage repairing and maintaining old cars.
