Mike began his career in the environmental engineering profession in 1992 and has extensive experience performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, underground storage tank removals, soil vapor and groundwater monitoring, and remediation projects throughout the western United States. Since joining Geocon in 2002 he has assisted our public and private clients with assessment and remediation of residential, commercial, industrial, oilfield, and agricultural properties. He is responsible for working with clients to develop technical scopes for investigations, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and mentoring staff. By working with Caltrans throughout Southern California, he has obtained expertise in performing assessments to aid in design of transportation infrastructure improvements and emergency response to environmental issues encountered during construction.
Outside of work Mike is active in his community and provides volunteer assistance at the schools and local Boy Scout/Cub Scout Troops. Mike, his wife, and three children all enjoy traveling and camping and are working toward the goal of visiting all 50 of the States. Between long distant trips they stay active with a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
