Recommended Skills and Qualifications:
- Manage all aspects of compliance with CA Prevailing Wage rules and Certified Payroll Reporting which includes:
o Calculating Prevailing Wage rates and Fringe Benefits for all employees.
o Tracking DAS 140 and 142 submissions on all Public Works projects.
o Making sure all One-Time Prevailing Wage Forms are completed as needed for projects.
o Ensuring all certified payroll is completed and uploaded to CA DIR.
o Take lead on process improvement endeavors, researching certified payroll software options and determining best options for Geocon.
o Managing Certified Payroll staff to make sure reporting is done correctly and workloads are balanced across the team.
Education: High School Diploma, College Degree Preferred
Experience: 2 to 5 years of Prevailing Wage / Certified Payroll Reporting experience.
Physical Demands: This job generally is a hybrid position, 2-3 days in the office per week.
Expected Hours of Work: Generally Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
More +Compensation Range: $29-$38.50/hr
