Geocon’s Mission Statement has not changed over the years since it was first written. It establishes the fundamental tenets of the company, and states:

As the reins pass from Mike Chapin to me, I marvel at my good fortune to lead such a first class operation with first class people. Mike is retiring to pursue his next life as an educator and has offered his guidance and counseling as I transition to a new role. I have gained a level of comfort as CEO since the first of the year knowing I have the support of our ownership and staff. I matured under the tutelage of Mike and the leadership of our founder, Jim Likins who retired a number of years ago. They established and refined a corporate culture that has grown Geocon from a 5-person operation nearly 40 years ago to 8 offices with 4 satellites providing services throughout the western US.
