Mr. Kasman began his career in the engineering geology profession in 1987 performing fault rupture hazard investigations, seismicity and ground motion studies, slope stability investigations, and geologic hazard evaluations throughout Southern California. Since joining Geocon in 2005 he has been managing multidisciplinary geotechnical investigations for major development projects, including investigations for commercial and residential projects, schools, hospitals, transportation, and infrastructure. Mr. Kasman has extensive experience in surface fault rupture hazard investigations throughout California. In addition, he leads Geocon’s team of engineers and geologists installing and monitoring geotechnical instrumentation for large tunnel projects.

Gerry is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Burbank office, development of technical scopes for investigations, training and resourcing of personnel on projects as well as maintaining the project schedules and budgets.

When Gerry is not working, he is volunteer leader with a local Boy Scout troop. He and his wife love to travel and look forward to more adventures now that their children are grown adults, In his free time, he enjoys camping and fishing.
