Melissa began her marketing career four years ago as a social media intern for a financial management company based in Corona, California. Afterwards, she ventured out into journalism for the City of Victorville where she interviewed citizens and City, County, and School District officials for her articles. She then began marketing products for a hospitality supplier in San Bernardino, California. She has recently joined Geocon’s team as a Marketing Assistant where she prepares qualification packages and proposals, assists pursuit managers in responding to RFPs, and coordinates with subconsultants.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys music by attending rock concerts, playing piano, and singing. She likes exploring new places with day hikes or road trips, and annually attends Anime Expo (cosplaying and all!). She spends time with her friends playing Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop games, playing sports, and trying new foods (but sushi is still ultimately her favorite).
